1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using our Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Status Quo provides a platform for creating and managing status pages to communicate service health, incidents, and scheduled maintenance to your customers. Features include but are not limited to:

  • Status page creation and customization
  • Incident and maintenance management
  • Subscriber notifications
  • Custom domain support
  • API access

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly update your account information as needed
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others
  • Transmit malware or other harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these Terms.

  • You are responsible for all applicable taxes
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension of your account

7. Service Level

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service. For Pro and Enterprise plans, we offer a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with specific uptime commitments. Details are available upon request.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Status Quo and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STATUS QUO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Status Quo and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law
